Assessment

Pre-course evaluation, intra-training and post programme delegate assessment

We have considerable experience in structuring delegate pre and post course assessments to enable the knowledge, skills and development of each participant to be tracked throughout the course and assessed on completion of the programme. Assessment can take the form of multiple choice questions, letter of credit document checking examinations, and learning and development behavioural metrics.

Pre-course assessment

A multiple-choice questionnaire can be set prior to course delivery to assess the knowledge gaps in each of the participants. Depending on the programme, this can range from 20 to 50 questions. Pre-assessment establishes a baseline for each participant against which progressive performance using post module assessments can be mapped against each product/subject discipline throughout the training. This facilitates tailored learning development and support, and measured output of the programme.

Post module assessment

An assessment can be launched on the completion of each module to test the knowledge acquisition and application of module content. Depending on the subject, this can range from 15 to 40 multiple-choice questions. The results are evaluated and where less than 60% of the cohort answered correctly, these questions are revisited and discussed at the commencement of the next module. This helps to address any deficiencies in cohort knowledge, reinforcing and embedding the acquired knowledge as we move through the programme.

A report is produced showing the mark for each participant mapped against their pre-assessment score.

End of training programme assessment

On completion of the course or programme, an examination can be held containing a mix of multiple choice questions, scenario based questions, and practical document checking tests.

An end of programme summary is provided containing the results for each module assessment and the final examination (where applicable). The score for each participant is analysed and broken down into each product/subject discipline and mapped against their pre course assessment score. This demonstrates the development of each participant resulting from the programme.
